Overlooking the picturesque waters of Lake Ontario and bordered by Joshua’s Creek, this enchanting mansion on the waterfront is the City’s newest event venue. Rich with history and charm, Harding Waterfront Estate is the ideal Mississauga location for your special occasions. Originally constructed in 1937, Harding Waterfront Estate is named after Kathleen Harding, the estate’s longest resident. Kathleen Harding was married to Charles Power Bell who commissioned Bank of Canada architect, Marani Lawson and Morris, to design the modern classical house and garage. He died shortly thereafter, leaving his wife the estate. Harding continued to live in the mansion and eventually remarried millionaire financier James Arthur Gairdner. Harding Waterfront Estate consists of the enchanting Bell-Gairdner House, a Coach House and an outdoor tented area. Bell-Gairdner House, the property’s main building, is a beautiful mansion where its original characteristics remain intact maintaining its vintage appeal, while its restored features offer a modern classic atmosphere. Bell-Gairdner House can accommodate up to 60 dinner guests, while the estate’s outdoor property is ideal for tented events of up to 200 guests. This gorgeous estate venue is the perfect backdrop for weddings, family gatherings, socials, corporate events and retreats. In January 2019, Pegasus Waterfront Corp (a division of Pegasus Hospitality Group) proudly became the exclusive caterer for Harding Waterfront Estate adding to their portfolio of renowned brands including the Palais Royale Ballroom, the Grand Luxe Event Boutique, Food Studio Catering and the Exchange at U of T.
