About
The suit is in every photo. It is what your partner sees when the doors open, what your friends remember of you that day, and the one piece from the wedding you will keep wearing for years. Blandin & Delloye is a French made to measure house founded in 2013, with boutiques across France and in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Our Yorkville boutique, at 182 Davenport Road, is a small, calm space with no sales floor and no rack. You come by appointment, we sit down, and we start from you.
The first visit takes about an hour. We talk about the wedding, the venue, the season, the colour of the bridal party, and whether you see yourself in a classic black tuxedo, an ivory dinner jacket for a summer evening or a deep green three piece for a garden ceremony. Then we take your measurements, choose the fabric together from Italian and English mills (Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Dugdale, Drago) and settle every detail, from the lapel to the lining to the monogram inside the jacket. Your garment is cut and made for you alone. Allow two to three months from first appointment to final fitting, so for a June wedding, come and see us by March. We dress groomsmen too, in the same fabric or complementary ones.
Two piece suits start at CA$850, with full pricing on our website. Behind that price are thirteen years of French tailoring, fabrics from the best mills in Italy and England, and a garment cut and sewn for one person only. Book your appointment online or call us. We are in Yorkville, a few minutes on foot from Bloor and Avenue Road.
