Tyrell James Photography is an Ottawa-based wedding and portrait photographer serving Ottawa, Gatineau and Eastern Ontario, and available to travel for destination weddings. I believe the best images aren’t posed — they’re noticed. My approach is documentary: I show up early, blend in, and capture your day as it actually happens, from quiet first looks to packed dance floors.
Wedding collections start at $1,400 and range from 3-hour elopements to full-day documentary coverage, with engagement sessions available. Every couple gets a planning call to map out the timeline, sneak peeks within a week of the wedding, and a full gallery delivered in 4–6 weeks. I also photograph portraits, headshots, families and events.

What services do you offer?
Wedding photography: Documentary-led coverage with one photographer, with an optional second shooter. Collections run from a 3-hour Elopement ($1,400) through Essential (6 hours, $2,200), Signature (8 hours, $3,000 — most popular) and Full Day (10 hours, $3,800). Every collection includes a fully retouched online gallery you can share privately with family, plus a print release. Add-ons include extra hours ($250/hour) and a second shooter (+$500), and custom collections are always available.
Engagement sessions: A relaxed session before the wedding so you get comfortable in front of the camera, with guidance on what to wear and where to shoot around Ottawa.
Portraits, family and events: Headshots and portraits from $200, family sessions from $450, and event coverage from $250/hour.

You get sneak peeks within a week and your full gallery in 4–6 weeks.
