Our expansive grounds open the possibilities to outdoor activities and tented events. Outdoor Weddings, treasure hunts, pony rides – let your imagination run wild.

Grain&Grit Beer

Grain&Grit has been in the works for well over a decade. For the longest time, it was just a pipe dream that would surface when we were drinking craft beer and fantasizing about changing our lives and starting a business together. It wasn't until Joe started home-brewing that this crazy idea of ours started to take on a life of it’s own. He found so much joy in the brewing process and in sharing his beer with our friends and family, that he knew it was how he wanted to spend his days. So, we started to take action. Once we found our building at 11 Ewen Road in Hamilton, Joe quit his job and shit started to get real! We hired a ridiculously wonderful human named Alex to be our head brewer and we all worked together to build Grain&Grit — from framing the walls to plumbing, to painting and everything in between. We finally opened our doors in October 2017 and we’re having a blast making beer and serving our amazing customers! We pushed ourselves way outside of our comfort zone to get here, and we’re hoping to inspire you to do the same. Or at the very least, we can provide you with a beer or two to enjoy while dreaming of your next big move.

Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm

On this scenic 120 acre farm you will find Dyment's Market & Bakery, Dyment's Pumpkin Patch and the venue space, Glen Drummond Farm, which hosts weddings + events. Glen Drummond Farm is home to the Dyment family. Since it’s establishment in 1887, Glen Drummond Farm has always been a place to make memories. The scenery is spectacular with the property bordering the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, giving gorgeous views of the city below. Weddings and Events: The farm is a picturesque setting that your guests will long remember, for weddings or special events. With120 acres of natural farm land, beautiful indoor barn spaces and an open courtyard where you can dance under the stars, Glen Drummond Farm is the perfect place for new beginnings. Pumpkin Patch: Come visit our Pumpkin Patch at one of our many events that will take place this year. Whether you have a special event to celebrate or are just looking for a wonderful day in the country we offer spectacular scenery, field-to-table foods and ‘farmtastic’ fun for the whole family during October weekends for Pick-Your-Own-Pumpkin. Market and Bakery: Our country market has been open to serve you for over 15 years. We bring you only the freshest local produce, straight from the farm. We're always baking quality goods from scratch. The food is beyond words, you will just have to come in and try it for yourself!
