Beckta's Wine Bar offers a more casual atmosphere of our fine-dining restaurant. Open from 5:00pm Tuesday to Saturday. The Wine Bar showcases the same great dinner menus as the dining room. Professionally designed by noted architect Ted Baker, a Canadian designer best known for Lionhead Golf Club in Toronto, Stonebridge Golf Club was constructed to USGA specifications in 1999/2000 and officially opened its doors for business on May 1, 2001. Spaciously laid out over 180 acres and nestled within the Stonebridge community, the golf course offers a wonderful blend of parkland and linksland golf. Stonebridge Golf Club features bent grass tees, greens and fairways, undulating putting surfaces, more than 60 premium Temisca sand bunkers, and natural fescue areas. Special care was taken to preserve the natural features of this spectacular site. Stonebridge Golf Club is recognized as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS). Stonebridge Golf Club is the 29th golf course in Ontario, 56th in Canada and the 571st in the world to receive this honour. The clubhouse boasts a magnificent, 2-sided, stone fire place in the front lobby, a majestic 2,000 square foot banquet hall, fully equipped pro shop, bistro, bar, men's and ladies locker rooms and a spectacular patio overlooking the 18th hole. Ottawa's Premier Yacht and Tennis Club Incorporated in 1887, BYC is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Canada. The well-protected harbour accommodates 250 keelboats. Dry sail facilities are provided for dinghies and small keel boats, and secure inside storage for sail boards, kayaks and canoes. In addition to boating, BYC also offers facilities and programs for tennis, youth, social and family activities.
