A true labor of love, it’s routine to find Mario (the winemaker) hard at work in the vineyard or at the winery. This third-generation Italian winemaker has produced many award-winning wines, including two 2013 Gold Medal winners - 2011 Vidal Icewine and 2010 Pinot Noir Red wine. Sleepy Hollow Country Club

Sleepy Hollow offers their members and guests a hometown country club experience with a challenging and beautiful parkland golf course, beautiful banquet and wedding facilities, and is located only 5 minutes from downtown Stouffville. Two fellows stood at the back of what is our 9th. green on a summer's day in 1958 overlooking the meadow which we now know as the 18th. fairway. One turned to the other and commented” that is a nice sleepy little hollow.” Their golf club had a name. Those two gentlemen, James Johnstone Sr. and Bert Turcotte were already in the midst of distinguished careers in golf. Ultimately sharing in honors with induction to either the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame,winning Canadian Professional Golf Championships or successful developers of other golf courses in this part of the world. From those days, the club has continued to prosper and evolve into a respected private golf club catering to the needs of a diverse and active membership, while providing space for community and private events. Today the course still rests peacefully in a park like setting, mature trees, rolling fairways and small undulating greens. Seven holes remain virtually untouched from the original design. The others lengthened and improved with an eye to protecting the beauty and original character.

Whitchurch – Stouffville Museum

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is one of the jewels of the GTA, located just north of Toronto on highway 404. We are a community rich in heritage and character and we are committed to offering our residents and businesses a ‘Country Close to the City’. Whitchurch-Stouffville Town Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (schedule is subject to change). All Council meetings are held in the Municipal Offices, Council Chambers. Meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend and participate. A schedule of meetings can be found on our website. In addition to regular Council meetings, a number of other meetings are held in the Council Chambers including Public Information Centres and Public Planning Meetings. Whitchurch-Stouffville's Municipal Offices not only serves as a government function, but also offers a variety of services such as marriage licenses/ceremonies, pet licensing, recreation programs, facilities and more.

Lebovic Centre for Arts & Entertainment – Nineteen on the Park

19 on the Park opened its doors in 2009 as a venue to bring the best in Arts & Entertainment to the Stouffville community. Located in the heart of town - behind the Clock Tower on Main Street - our historic building was built in 1896 as a market and dance hall. This unique building has been an integral social hub to the community, playing many roles over the years including the Stanley Theatre, a bowling alley and it was the Town Hall until the 1970s. Now full restored to be a beautiful 150 seat theatre, this multi-purpose venue holds concerts, live theatre shows, fundraisers, wedding ceremonies and private events.
