Royal Canadian Yacht Club was founded in Toronto in 1852 to serve both as a yachting recreational club and an unofficial auxiliary of the Royal Navy in the defence of the waters of Lake Ontario. We are one of Canada’s premier sailing and social clubs, with an emphasis on family participation, the development of our junior sailors, and a Corinthian attitude towards excellence in sailing. RCYC Members enjoy our lively Wine Dinners, Themed Family Nights, Heritage Events, Fitness speaker series, an Annual Summer Ball and many other Club Events. Our spirited Social Groups provide a variety of mixers and activities throughout the year ideal for learning something new, making new friends and having fun.

The Westmount Event Centre is the perfect venue for all of your event booking needs. Westmount Event Centre is centrally located and easily accessible from Highways 400, 404 and 407, and is less than 15 minutes from Pearson International Airport. With numerous hotels in the area, out of town guests are readily prepared to participate in events at Westmount Event Centre.

Wooden Sticks offers excellent practice facilities, and our team of CPGA Teaching Professionals are dedicated to helping you “find your game.” Private and group lessons are available along with clinics and junior camps. Wooden Sticks also has six luxury on-site cabins that can accommodate up to four people. Each cabin features two bedrooms, four beds, two bathrooms, a comfortable common area, with wet bar. Sleepy Hollow offers their members and guests a hometown country club experience with a challenging and beautiful parkland golf course, beautiful banquet and wedding facilities, and is located only 5 minutes from downtown Stouffville. Two fellows stood at the back of what is our 9th. green on a summer's day in 1958 overlooking the meadow which we now know as the 18th. fairway. One turned to the other and commented” that is a nice sleepy little hollow.” Their golf club had a name. Those two gentlemen, James Johnstone Sr. and Bert Turcotte were already in the midst of distinguished careers in golf. Ultimately sharing in honors with induction to either the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame,winning Canadian Professional Golf Championships or successful developers of other golf courses in this part of the world. From those days, the club has continued to prosper and evolve into a respected private golf club catering to the needs of a diverse and active membership, while providing space for community and private events. Today the course still rests peacefully in a park like setting, mature trees, rolling fairways and small undulating greens. Seven holes remain virtually untouched from the original design. The others lengthened and improved with an eye to protecting the beauty and original character.
