Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club opened for golf in Barrie in 2002. Since then Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club has quickly gained recognition as one of the Premier Golf Facilities not just in Barrie, but the entire Greater Toronto Area. We were Nominated "Best New Golf Course" in Canada 2003 by Golf Digest and have been rated one of Canada’s Top 100 Golf Course by the Globe and Mail. The course was built on over 200 acres of rolling terrain, this all bent grass layout was designed by renowned course architect Rene Muylaert and was his last 18 hole course design. The course will satisfy every golfer's appetite. With four sets of tees, the course measures from 5,500 yards for beginners to 7,200 yards for the more serious player. The vision was to create Tangle Creek using the best characteristics of the classic and links style courses. The course features windswept fairways defined by strategic bunkering, mounding, grassy hollows and fescue. The course then transitions into a more traditional North American style with heavily forested holes, ponds, environmentally protected areas with immaculate course conditions. Built in 2006 our 22,000 square foot clubhouse is the perfect setting for golf tournament, weddings, banquets and meetings. This beautiful setting will seat comfortably groups ranging in size from 16 to 300 people. Tangle Creek’s award winning Executive Chef and the hospitality staff looks forward to exceeding expectations of our customers. Tangle Creek Golf Academy will teach you how to learn or improve your complete golf game. Our instructors guide you towards the best swing for you and help you refine your overall skills. Welcome to Irvineside Farm!  We offer a unique and private space for your day.  It truly can become whatever you envision for the entire weekend.  From 3:00pm on Friday, until 11:00am on Sunday, the place is yours. We pride ourselves on not offering packages and not trying to become a ‘wedding mill’ that has another wedding in the wings or running concurrently. Be creative or laid back.  Adventure or chill. Our guests love the peaceful surroundings.  We have 8 acres with a small creek.  There is accommodation for up to 28 people (farmhouse for 4  and 24 in the glamping tents).  We see it as a ‘mini-destination’ wedding because your core group of 28 can stay on site for the weekend and you can still have up to 100 guests for the wedding and the reception. We have a luxurious 4 room washroom trailer on site with flush toilets, showers and unlimited hot water.  The drive shed and barn are spacious and picturesque.  We also have four (10’x20’) pop up tents to increase the outside space. The Grand Windsor Ballroom is the perfect place to celebrate new beginnings. With over 5000 square feet of exquisite banquet space, The Grand Windsor Ballroom can accommodate up to 500 guests.
