As one of Toronto’s few traditional ballrooms, the Liberty Grand is the perfect location for groups of one hundred and fifty to three thousand people. Originally constructed in 1926, this one hundred thousand square foot complex gracefully blends the exuberant Beaus Arts monumentality of the banquet rooms with the classical interior finishes. The Liberty Grand boasts three impressive grand ballrooms and one open concept room, decorated in a traditional early 1900’s elegance. With crystal chandeliers, twenty seven foot ceilings, iron-laced balconies and arched windows, you will enjoy a luxurious feel of understated elegance. These rooms adorned with fine imported period furnishings, magnificent domes and columns bring back memories of an authentically historic atmosphere.

Formerly The Eglinton Theatre, this historic landmark has been restored to its original 1937 grandeur! Recapture the elegant design and sophistication of this majestic facility. Boasting one spectacular ballroom, the venue is exclusively yours for the evening. Holding true to its art deco décor, The Eglinton Grand is adorned with rich woods including mahogany and ebony, elegant marble, beautiful wainscoting and period furniture. The balcony level will create an ideal private cocktail area. The venue can host dinners from 100 to 450 for a sit down dinner and cocktail receptions for up to 700 guests. Also included onsite is a gorgeous ceremonial room called The Gallery. This space can be used for ceremonies, break out areas or as an area to enhance your event. Capacity of this room is up to 300 guests sit down.
