The bar has been open for 47 years hosting weddings, dance parties and bands. The new Hayloft Dancehall is a live music venue bringing the success of The Dakota Tavern to beautiful Prince Edward County!

We are pleased to offer The Lavender Farm from June to September as a wedding venue. Our lovely lavender field serves as a backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. The 75 year old heritage bank barn is perfect for your rustic, country themed wedding. The Lavender Farm is a peaceful place to have your family portraits taken, we will work with your photographer of choice so that you will feel comfortable and relaxed during your photo session. Another great season is complete, we are now closed for the season and will re-open in June 2022.

The golf course was designed by Nicol Thompson, the older brother of famous Canadian architect Stanley Thompson. In 1923, the Club was purchased by the membership and governed by a Board of Directors with James Playfair as the Chairman of the Board. Doug Carrick, a student of Thompson was hired in the early nineties to begin a long range plan for capital improvements to the golf course. Mr. Carrick has exceeded everyone’s expectations by capturing the sense of heritage and classic design that was established in 1919.
