Located less than two hours north of Toronto, and only 8KM south of Parry Sound you will find Grand Tappattoo Resort nestled amongst 50 acres of natural birch and pine trees, surrounded by the clear waters of Otter Lake. ​ The Main Lodge and Cottages were opened in 1987. Between 1989 and 1997 several deluxe suite accommodations, a banquet hall, two fully appointed conference rooms and a spacious indoor pool and recreation complex were added. In all Grand Tappattoo has 53 hotel rooms, suites and fully equipped cottages. ​ The goal was to create a vacation resort which combines both the pleasant amenities of accommodations as well as top quality food and service, surrounded by overwhelming nature in the Canadian wilderness. Attention was paid to details such as fine furniture, balconies and decks overlooking the lake, and to our cuisine and service. Ottawa's Premier Yacht and Tennis Club Incorporated in 1887, BYC is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Canada. The well-protected harbour accommodates 250 keelboats. Dry sail facilities are provided for dinghies and small keel boats, and secure inside storage for sail boards, kayaks and canoes. In addition to boating, BYC also offers facilities and programs for tennis, youth, social and family activities. The clubhouse features the region's best view of the Ottawa River, fine dining and year round activities. The venue includes state of the art audio visual equipment, silver chiavari chairs and unique interchangeable backdrops – suitable for both, corporate and social events. Millennium Gardens can accommodate up to 450 guests – either as an entirety or among independent ballrooms. The grand lobby has been designed accordingly, with separate entrances to ensure privacy. The venue is located on Steeles Avenue between Mississauga Road and Mavis Road – with easy access to highways 401, 410 and 407. We look forward to being of service!

The Knox Wedding & Event Venue is located in the heart of the historic village of Merrickville, Ontario (just 45 minutes from Ottawa). This elegant and sophisticated property successfully marries the old with the new in pleasing ways. Once upon a time, it was a Presbyterian church built in 1861, but it has been repurposed to host ceremonies, receptions, and other significant events. The Knox provides a stunning and unique indoor and outdoor space to be enjoyed by you and your guests! Situated on "mansion row", one block from Picton Harbour, The CAPE is a landmark geographically, historically and architecturally.  Meticulously restored and renovated, The CAPE's reception rooms, stunning façade, veranda, ballroom and extensive garden create the perfect canvas for your dream wedding, corporate event, private function, family or friends' reunion. ​ The sprawling Georgian manor was built in 1863 as a private residence. Owned by George McMullen, a Boston railway tycoon, the residence greeted Prime Ministers and dignitaries. It was here that the plot to overthrow the government of Sir John A. Macdonald in the 1875 Pacific Scandal was likely hatched.  Generous campaign donations were considered to be an effort to influence the government in awarding the lucrative Pacific Railway contract. ​ Re-imagined with modern sophistication and latest technology, The CAPE has emerged as an elegant setting for any event.  Boutique bedroom suites include all amenities, enhancing the options for your event or rented by your group to enjoy exclusively.
